Our Executive Chef, Sue Stimpson is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute, NYC, where she received her formal culinary training. She also studied at the Kushi Institute, Becket, MA specializing in the preparation of macrobiotic foods, and advanced her skills in "healing the body through food" at the Strengthening Health Institute, Philadelphia, PA.
Sue developed her passion for preparing healthy delicious food and teaching others about the importance of eating nutritiously while experiencing her own battle with cancer. Sue loves sharing her knowledge and different cooking techniques with others. She works closely with people who possess sensitivity to foods, are healing from illness or people who just want to eat healthier.
The chefs at From the Heart are Serv-Safe certified and believe in using organic, local, non GMO foods.
